Facilitator: Bidar, Chitradurga, Chamarajanagar, Dharwad, Dakshin Kannada, Gulbarga, Kodagu, Mandya, Mysore, Vijayapura and Yadgir

Overview

As a facilitator you will have to work closely with the district government, the headmaster of the school you have been assigned and with your master trainer and the rest of the team at Yuva Chintana Foundation. You will have to conduct one-hour classes in two to three schools in the district, which will be decided on the basis of how quickly you can travel to the location. We follow a blended learning model and therefore, you will have to learn how to use online tools to teach and to learn as quickly as possible. In the eventuality that classes go completely online, you will have to be available to your students outside class hours to answer their questions. You will also be expected to regularly contact and update the school, government officials, parents as well as the rest of the team at YCF.

Community engagement is a critical part of the work we do at YCF and it will be your responsibility to help draw members of the community (parents, teachers, etc.) into all the activities that we conduct both online and offline.

You will be trained to teach our curriculum and YCF staff will always be available to answer your questions and doubts. We are looking for candidates who like teaching, are fluent in Kannada and who understand English. Any experience in teaching or in the non-profit sector will be an added advantage.
